I've replied to your crontab question in the vortexbox forum. If you
want to use the -e form of the crontab command referred to by Gordon,
it looks at the VISUAL and EDITOR environment variables to determine

Excellent, great to get access to My Sounds subscriptions.
One minor point, after a successful login, the menu selections are
offset by one, e.g. selecting Recommended for you takes you to the My

Fair enough, I was being too generous!

You could use Squeezelite to resample to a fixed rate (maybe the max for
the DAC) and then there would be no need to switch the DAC's hardware
clock.

Also, if you do want to use the built in "Tiny LMS", I don't see the
downside in using the official firmware. I don't think there are big
improvements in the community firmware for the Touch are there?

Wouldn't it be possible to create a separate menu item under Apps for
each account, e.g "Account Name's BBC Sounds"? That way you break any
association with a device and each account can use any device.

A related question, there doesn't seem to be the option for a group
player to fix the volume at 100%. Is there a reason for this?

I think you might be talking at cross purposes here. The LMS Connect
app allows you to "share" albums and playlists from the native Android
Qobuz and Tidal apps (and others) to LMS. In effect allowin
It's an issue that I also have, athough not frequently. Is there any
equivalent server side settings that could be changed, as two of my
devices (Touch and DAC32) are not Pi's and therefore I can't alter the
player settings?

Having said it happens infrequently, it happened quite often today! I
have made the change on one of my Pi's and it seems to have worked,
although with a problem like this one, it's hard to be sure. I did play
an album where it happened a couple of times though and after the

Not sure if I am missing something but in the Qobuz App enter your
search term and along the top are categories: "Releases Tracks Playlists
Panoramas" etc, select "Playlists" and you will see a list of playlist
that meet your search term.
As P-Kay says, by searching for "Late Night Jazz - cashofmoney" you are
adding a username (cashofmoney) to the playlist name "Late Night Jazz"
but the Qobuz search doesn't recognise the addition of a user name. You
would need to search for "Late Night Jazz" and then in the playlists

That said I can't find a playlist called Late Night Jazz by

I get identical results searching for Late Night Jazz in the LMS Qobuz

That doesn't seem to solve the problem that you described, which was not
finding the playlists you wanted when you searched for "Late Night Jazz"
in the Qobuz apps but finding them when you searched via the LMS Qobuz

Thanks, that was painless!
I have just installed the Chromecast bridge plugin on a Vortexbox 2.4

version reported missing libraries) but with an odd problem: it only
works when I enable logging! If I turn logging off, it doesnt work but

It's not a minor change to implement something like Spotify Connect or
Tidal Connect but Qobuz are behind their competitors in not having a
"connect" option.

The Connect feature is not LMS specific. To be honest I don't think
that LMS features very highly in any of the streaming providers'
priorities.

Strangely I got the update about an hour after I made my post! When I
checked this morning (with the f-droid app), it was still showing the
old version.

As a workaround, you can add the "My Weekly Q" as a favourite playlist
from a Qobuz interface and it will them appear under "My Playlists" in
the LMS interface as "My Weekly Q - date"
