The problem is at runtime: audio is badly distorted with celt-0.11.3, thus the strict requirement of celt 0.11.1 See: http://www.linuxquestions.org/questions/showthread.php?p=4890457 and https://bugs.mageia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=12853 Or we could drop celt entirely... Add UTF-8 support to textproc/par
Hi people, in line with the current "Add UTF-8 support to everything"-movement, I'd like to propose the attached patch for the textproc/par port. I use par to format my email messages (this one included), and I love to use umlauts, which can be a bit cumbersome with regular par. The patch adds the UTF-8 patch from [0]. I've tested the patch with the example from [0] and a few emails, both with and without umlauts, and it seems to work fine. If it's okay with everyone, I'd also like to take MAINTAINER of the port since it currently looks orphaned. As I do not think there is an overwhelming reason for using Botan I feel it is nicer to skip additional port dependencies and explicitly use our LibreSSL instead. The question remaining is if the configure flag should be --with-openssl or --with-openssl=/usr. While it seems the configure script will look for the library in an order that starts with /usr, I wonder if it is nicer to be explicit that we want to use the base version (rather than the openssl port for instance). Attached is a port with the explicit flag set and a shortened LIB_DEPENDS/WANTLIB list. I have tested that it ignores the use of Botan when it is installed. Let me know what you think. -- Patrik Lundin kea,3.tgz Description: application/tar-gz
