I just wanted to be clear on something. Basically almost everything I do
is in UTF-8 encoding.
Is it OK to submit in UTF-8 encoding or should I use C locale?
No problem for me to skip accents or such either way.

there was some internal discussion, and Ingo Schwarze made a compelling
argument for this, as our resident UTF-8 expert: pkg_* tools are mostly
used while setting up machines, and in some cases the tty might not be
100% utf-8 compliant.
So, effective immediately, all of pkg_* printouts will replac

Hi,
I thougt we had selenium in our ports tree, but not. I searched in the
previous mail on ports@ and seen a port from frantisek holop, I updated it.
Are you ok with the port?

This diff switches fs2open to the release tarball. Simplifies things a ton
because now it doesn't need to fetch the git submodules separately. Includes
REVISION bump and new HOMEPAGE line.
Builds and runs as before on a quick test run.

Don't set MAKE_JOBS in mk.conf, many ports don't work with it so it's not a sane
default.
You can set it per build job on the command line, but I think it's likely to be
responsible for your build problem here.
Hey friends,
i am trying to build php-7.0.23p2 on a clean snapshot (OpenBSD
batdesk.wayne-data.com 6.2 GENERIC.MP#10 amd64) with a fresh ports tree.
The build fails with the following error message. I wanted to get a
clean build of this PHP version before i update it to the latest version
7.0.
I had a conversation with the person who runs chiselapp, re tarballs. Excerpt:
"Is this something I should be concerned about with chiselapp?"
"No -- as you may recall that was one of my complaints about various git places,
and my compliment to Fossil as it does deliver stable tarballs."

Hi,
For sysutils/upobsd, I am not using github but bitbucket, but I assume
auto-generated tarball should be avoided here too.
While here, I properly released 1.0 (it is same as ad19e93e1914, so no
functional changes).
distinfo changed as the root directory of the tarball switched from

Many ports are using github's on-the-fly generated source-code tarballs

These are *not* guaranteed to be stable, they can change as github
update software and caches expire (this has happened at some point over

I'm no longer using lua in my projects so can't commit to maintaining
devel/luaposix. Here is a diff to drop MAINTAINER, OK?
ps.
If someone wants to take over as MAINTAINER I will gladly place it
there while removing mine - just let me know.

The previous fix, pkg-selete/pkg_add fails thus:
