if they want to continue using it on OpenBSD. Otherwise IntelliJ and/or

did you install jdk 1.8? try uninstalling eclipse and jdk(1.7 and 1.8)
then install jdk1.7 and then eclipse
Start eclipse and then try installing 1.8
