Grounding is only a problem with certain Cardbus cards.
Early Cardbus cards had no provision for shielding, anyway.

I have a Wallstreet 233/513bsc. I recently acquired an Orinoco card and it
fits fine in the lower slot but when I try to put it in the upper slot it
springs back and won't go in. Now, Wallstreets do have 2 card slots, right?

I have a Wallstreet 233/513bsc. I bought this on ebay and when I got it the
battery was recognized although it only held a charge for about a half hour.
The green lights would light and indicate the battery was fully charged etc.
Now it does not even recognize there is a battery

have an on-board combo Ethernet-modem card.

If the battery is more than two or three years old, it is probably

Fortunately, 1998 (Wallstreet) and 1999/2000 (Pismo-Lombard) batteries
are back in new production.
Chinese batteries are occasionally sold on eBay.
BTC is apparently buying these, ubdoubtedly direct, and rebranding
3400c 9.1 VPC 3.0: Will this combination work? I'd hate to remove the shrink
wrap if there is no chance... :)

I have used Virtual PC 3.0 with Windows 95 on a PowerBook 3400c running
OS 9.1. I believe that a G3 processor is needed for Windows
If it says minimum G3, don't try it. The versions of VPC that require a G3
won't run on anything less.

My copy of Virtual PC 3 runs fine on my 3400c, and even my Duo 2300c
(!!!)
I think G3 is recommended.
I had Windows 2000 running on my 3400c but it was slow. But it did run
so...
