for everything from Mac OS 7.5 to 9 or so. I run 8.1 with these drivers
flawlessly.

I have a PowerBook 1400cs, 117Mhz, 48MB RAM, 750MB HD, and I tried to
install the System 7.5.3 that Apple offers. I had Mac OS 8.6 installed
and that was too slow. Loading webpages was slower than my Performa 460

My PowerBook 145b has 4MB of RAM currently, and I'm using 5MB of virtual
memory on the hard drive, but I get a lot of insufficient memory errors,
and I end up having to reboot with extentions off just to use StuffIt
Expander. I know that the 145b only supports 8MB of RAM, but if I buy a
6MB RAM
I have 32-bit addresssing enabled, but as far as a 4MB RAM stick, I
didn't see one that PowerBookGuy was selling. He only has a 6MB RAM
stick for the PB140/145/170.

it's been in use for a year for mostly games and AOL IM.
That seems to be about all it is good for though.
