Filtering and Deleting Old Messages?

I have started to use PM to retrieve Google Gmail messages. Since the mail is stored by Google, I do not to keep the messages in PM for more than a few days. Most filters act on incoming or outgoing mail, how can I have the messages deleted from the PM Inbox and other folders after a few days?

There exists also an AppleScript called Delete Aged Messages - the one I have is version 1.2 and I do not know if there is a newer version, that one is at least 3 or 4 years old. You can probably find it where all the other PM AppleScripts are located at http://www.ctmdev.com/ support/ -
