November, and we are looking for a fast scanner with a small footprint.
Fujitsu has the ScanSnap series, and they look reasonable. The models in
this line have a 20-25 ppm speed, which seems fast.

We use a Sharp MX-2310U combination copier/printer/scanner with sheet feed.
It's a big piece of kit but does network distribution to user folders for
scans
We use a Visioneer Stobe 500
Works great and very fast / small

We've used the sheet fed scanners from both HP and Fujitsu. Current models are
ScanJet Professional 3000 5000 from HP and fi-6110 from Fujitsu. All have
worked well for our purposes.

We have 2 brother multifunction MFC 8460N I am sure this is outdated now,
but they work great. We have no plans to change. We use the software

I've installed a couple of the Fujitsu scanners and they were very good.
Fast, easy to set up and reliable.

I use a Brother MFC-7345N and the scanning multiple pages worked great and
loads the software automatically when I used Vista.
But
When I use Windows 7 the software doesn't load automatically and I can only
do one page scan at a time.
I was on the phone
In the past we have had 2 Canon printer/scanners and the auto document feed
broke on both. Canon refused to fix it even though they were still under the
1 year warrantee. We will never buy anything with a Canon brand again.
We've been using higher-end Canon scanners for several years. Not
