My 2T Passport Ultra was dropped about 2.5 ft from tabletop to the floor.
Now it not only won't spin up, but if I try a few times, the machine I'm
mounting it on hangs.
I've written an email to WD, but there's no response.
Trash it? Other ideas?

What's your level of expertise in electronics repair?
Of course, anything you DIY is not covered by warranty repair, but dropping
it prolly did that, too.
Unplug from power and PC, disassemble and visually inspect. If there's
nothing obviously broken, the drive is probably dead-ish. (I say -ish
