I have a class with a container with a TextBox and an EditBox.
The container has a method called AdjSize:
This.edit1.Height = this.edit1.Height + 50
The TextBox InteractiveChange:
IF '+' $ this.Value OR '-' $ this.Value
This.Parent.adjsize()
ENDIF
When I instantiate the control
If you are using VFP9, you can right-click in your container and choose
'object list' : it will give you the right name and the right path to
the method.
I see a problem in your code : I don't know what you do elsewhere but if
you do not remove the '+' or '-' you will increase the size of your
The method you created is
This.parent.edit1.adjsize()

Hi Joe,
When I instantiate the control on a form and run the form keying either a
- or + in the TextBox results in an error message: Property ADJSIZE is
not found.
The method is protected. You need to make it public in order to call it from
the textbox.
