I'm sad to pass on news that Janis Booth has passed away. Janis may be
more familiar to you as "Jim" during her active FoxPro career. She was
66.
Janis was a 2013 winner of the FoxPro Lifetime Achievement Award [1],
a Microsoft MVP 1993-2003, a key member of the 1994

I did not get a chance meet Janis personally, but I remember purchasing a
VFP video training series presented by Jim Booth. I'm assuming this was the
same person. At the time, I found the videos very useful for training
employees and Jim did a great job presenting the information.

Sad news indeed.
I was only just reading messages of sympathy for her on Jon Koziol's Facebook
page who is also fighting a huge battle with the big C for those of you who
have ever come across him.
Makes you realise that we are all mortal.
