*Location: Atlanta, GA*

 *Job description:*



· Define vision, strategy and principles for data management

· Define standards for naming, describing, governing, managing,
modeling, cleansing, enriching, transforming, moving, storing, searching
and delivering all data within the enterprise

· Serve as the liaison between data consumer representatives and
data solution development, integration and governance teams

· Inform and interpret data project sponsors

· Understand and articulate how data is, or will be, used and
implication on people, processes, products and technology

· Represent Data and Information Architecture in the Enterprise
Architecture Body

· Work across teams to leverage synergies and align data models
with overall Information Architecture

· Participate in developing the future state data architecture
standards, guidelines, and principles

· with 5+ years in Enterprise / Application architecture & 3-4
years of relevant experience in data modelling of structured and
unstructured entities, RDBMS and NoSQL design, data architecting

· Experience with Multi-Tenant Data Architectures, Data Security
and isolation Mechanisms with Fine-grained Access Control

· Experience with High Volume Data Ingestion Mechanisms, Data
Analytics Stores, Data Warehousing, Data Quality Management and Data
Lifecycle Management

*Title: Data Architect*

*Location: Atlanta, GA*

*Duration: 12+ Months*



*Job Description:*

A data architect will be responsible data modeling in relational and
non‐relational databases using industry best practice techniques and tools
such as Embarcadero or similar data modeling tools. The data architect will
be part of a production DBA team that involves performance monitoring,
database structure modes, backups/recoveries, and storage management.



*Responsibilities:*

· Perform data modeling in relational and non‐relational databases

· Translate user requirements to data model for relational and
non‐relational databases

· Generate DDL statements for object creation/deletion/modifications

· Manage data models and metadata in complex and dynamic enterprise
environments

· Monitor and troubleshoot database performance in SQL Server 2008,
SQL 2012 RDMS, MySQL, Postgre SQL

· Backup and recovery of databases

· Coordinate allocation of storage and forecast storage usage

· Design database architecture

· Perform database monitoring, integration, replication,
notification, analysis, tuning, problem resolution, reporting and
production support

· Identify blocking transactions within a minute when required



*Qualifications:*

· Excellent interpersonal skills. Strong written and verbal
communication skills with strong attention to detail. Daily interaction
with customer and multiple data center staff. This is done in person, over
the phone, and via email.

· Ability to carry mobile devices and provide support off hours
(nights, weekends)

· Extensive knowledge in data modeling in relational and
non‐relational databases using industry best practice data modeling
techniques and tools such as Embarcadero or similar data modeling tools

· Ability to translate user requirements to data model for
relational and non‐relational databases

· Experience supporting SQL Server 2008, SQL 2012, MySQL, PostgreSQL
