[PEDA] : Junction Printing Error
Hi, in DXP 2004 when I print (or export to DXF) a schematic document, wire junctions disappear in printed document. It doesn't happen with manually placed junctions, but onli with auto-junctions. Is it a bug or I can set up DXP to print all junctions? I seem to recall that this was mentioned as a new item recently. The DXP forum has also covered this as well. [PEDA] 2004 Simulation
I can't seem to get the mixed mode simulator to do anything in Protel 2004. When I compile a circuit I get a whole raft of errors of the form: Signal PinSignal name[0] has no driver. The same circuits compile and simulate fine under DXP. Any ideas? [PEDA] 'Update PCB' re-creates component comments?
Hi, Is there a way to stop the 99SE schematic editor 'update PCB' command from re-creating the component comments that I so carefully removed from the PCB layout?... I have found that I can use the 'preview' button to review and remove the macros that create the comments, but have a feeling that I'm doing this the wrong way? Re: [PEDA] Need to show footprint info on schematic
Double click on the component to get Component Properties. Highlight the footprint, Ctrl-C, go up to Parameters ADD, in the Value field CTRL-V, check Visible. Not as onerous as it sounds. Re: [PEDA] 'Update PCB' re-creates component comments?
Peter, Rather than removing the comments, tick the HIDE box for the component comments in your PCB layout. This way they are still there (satisfies Protel) but they do not appear in printed documentation (satisfies you). This change can be done globally so it should be a quick and easy answer to your problem.
