Not really. Usually you get the source for the third-party components, especially when you pay for it. It is Protel's responsibility to provide source or up-to-date components. For older projects however it doesn't makes sense to upgrade them to the latest version. Being Delphi programmer myself

The current SDK is compatible only with Delphi D5. This is because the interface to Protel is provided as a precompiled runtime package that is compiler specific. The entry level Delphi 5 package should be sufficient for most kinds of Protel server development. Check the Borland web site for
