Yes, it's exactly that. Dennis already detailed it more, I have nothing to add to his post except that I never observed disappearing things. But I just use this feature occasionally. Re: [PEDA] Printing Regions
here's the good news yes that feature very useful is right there on one of the many many different print dialogs this one is on the file menu - setup printer this item won't appear on the file menu until you have the print preview PPC open here's the bad news we find from time to time and for various reasons (mostly maximizing fit or getting rid of stuff we don't want to see) that we delete stuff (on copy though!) for the purpose of printing as i recall the 'fit whole board on page' option creates a better fit to our printer, must have to do with the ratio of the screen size of course that messes with the special string .Pcb_File_Name_No_Path which is in the title block it's always something Dennis Saputelli JaMi Smith wrote: > > No ! ! ! ! > > I am not aware ! ! ! ! > > Are you saying what I hope you are saying, that I can use "Print Preview" to > print ONLY a portion of the board that I want or specify (by what is being > viewed on the screen, or some other manner ) ! ! ! ! > > I was just about to write something up in a post about wanting to be able to > do this, and add it to the list for SP7, but if it already exists, I will > galdly claim ignorance and apologize for that ignorance. > > "You ignorant fool! [PEDA] Printing Regions
No ! ! ! ! I am not aware ! ! ! ! Are you saying what I hope you are saying, that I can use "Print Preview" to print ONLY a portion of the board that I want or specify (by what is being viewed on the screen, or some other manner ) ! ! ! ! I was just about to write something up in a post about wanting to be able to do this, and add it to the list for SP7, but if it already exists, I will galdly claim ignorance and apologize for that ignorance. "You ignorant fool! I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I just didn't know. I just didn't know, I was asleep in class that day, I'm sorry, I'm sorry!" Please Please, tell me more ! ! ! !
