Re: [PEDA] Altium Release Protel DXP ( What is new in protel DXP?)
Hello all, I've downloaded and installed the DXP trial on a Windows 2000 PC, with 384MB RAM. When I run it, I get a message that it has generated errors, and an error log is being created. That's it! Nothing else, and a reboot makes no difference. Has anybody else had it working yet? Steve. -Original Message- From: Luo [mailto:Luo] Sent: 29 July 2002 11:00 To: Protel EDA Forum Subject: Re: [PEDA] Altium Release Protel DXP ( What is new in protel DXP?) Now, I have got it. Re: [PEDA] Altium Release Protel DXP ( What is new in protel DXP?)
Brian, My install was OK and it is running fine (till I got peeved about the metric support and stopped playing), but Steve's install failed. Both were on W2K Sp2 So you have 50/50 chance if its the d/l or the environment that was the problem. Best Regards John A. Re: [PEDA] Altium Release Protel DXP ( What is new in protel DXP?)
I joke not I was just trying to get the download from PADS and their server chocked I have been out of work for a bit and need to get reacquainted with PADS because here in NE there is a microcosm of users that use Protel and It was great while it lasted and better than PADS however I need to get back to work and will have to back to the hammer and chisel approach I used it for over 8 years before switching to Protel. I disliked it then and will. Similarly for AutoCAD, however it is entrenched an I can do nothing about that, looks like I will need to refamiliarize myself with both. - Original Message - From: John Ross [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: Protel EDA Forum [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Monday, July 29, 2002 3:13 PM Subject: Re: [PEDA] Altium Release Protel DXP ( What is new in protel DXP?) -Original Message- From: Joe Sapienza [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Subject: Re: [PEDA] Altium Release Protel DXP ( What is new in protel DXP?)
