Actually, it seems it is not so new. When the name was announced, I had an

Altium is a new master name which encompasses all the others. Sort of like
General Motors is the "big name" but under it you have several brands like
Cadillac, Buick, GMC, Pontiac etc..
The exception is that Altium has no brand recognition right now because the
