Brian that must be it!!!

I have Altera's stuff on this machine, and now that you mention it, that's
roughly the time when it started to not shutdown. I also was wondering what
that jtagserver.exe was. Thanks!! I thought it had something to do with my
Atmel dev tools. (More crap if you ask me and yes you can quote me on that.
Check AVRFreaks for more of my comments...)

I didn't know if it was Protel, Outlook, Atmel, but I think you explained it
for me. I've left my machine on all night long trying to allow it to
shutdown and it's still on in the morning when I get back. Just wasting
electricity...
