As far as I know Scriptaculous do not support this out of the box.
I could think of 2 possible solutions:
- Use ghost option, and on drop just clone this element and
positioned it on the drop point ( and if you want to drag&drop it
again the clone must become new draggable element)
- Second opti
ghost option ist not what i look for...it only duplicates the drag-
object while dragged...if you drop it its gone. The other callbacks
and options don't make any sense this way...so i'll try to get a
solution on my own...thx anyway.

Not sure I understand what you are wanting to do. If you mean drag
from one location and the pop back so it can be dragged again, then
yes you have full control over what happens during and after drags.
Look in the documentation for the various callbacks you have
available.
