I think we also need administrative profile on windows or any OS for that
matter. For the multiuser install there needs to be an administrative
profile.
The ability to have disable/enable profiles for each user is right on. This
is more or less how we work with the current eclipse.
What your proposing is extremely similar to what we had been doing in our
data model in Maya in that the base profile defined by an administrator
could be augmented by a user. In this case, we had envisioned rules as to
what could be excluded such that some adminstrator defined software would be
