Re: [psas-avionics] Italian hobby rocket with active guidance

2007-05-21 Thread Andrew Greenberg
We've corresponded with Cristiano over the last few years, so it's great
to hear he finally got something working. And just to be pedantic, I'd
call it actively stabilized as opposed ot actively guided.

I looked, but I can't find them: can someone point me to the movies?

Thanks,

Andrew

[psas-avionics] Italian hobby rocket with active guidance

2007-05-20 Thread Keith Packard
There is an article in the May/June 2007 issue of Sport Rocketry (the
NAR rag), on Casimiro, a rocket built by an Italian. He has a web site
at www.criscaso.com, all in Italian. Finless, active guidance for
stability, E9 for first launch, F12 for second...

The videos show a short finless flight; not terribly stable, but still.
