Wait... You don't need to change your key layout
Hold down the control key and click the variable or function. It should take
you to the variable declaration or function definition.
ALT & left arrow will take you back to where you were.
CTRL & SHIFT & L brings up the list of hotkeys that are
Window->Preferences->General ->Keys
All the key bindings are listed there, and you can add your own.
Look for 'Open Declaration', you'll see it is bound to F3.
If you select the declaration in an editor and right-click, you'll see a
menu of choices
and key-bindings as well.
