Hello All, I have recently upgraded to PT 9.0.3 from 8.0.5. PT does not seem to recognise or see my MBox. I am in a track able to configure the I/O settings of the interface, but each time I arm the track it seems that my computer hardware is the one being used. I have much to read on this

There is a driver that has to be installed for 9.x and then you have to start PT9 and when the splash screen appears I think you press I to re-initialize drivers. There is a Tech note about it but I don't remember the details right now. I had to do this when I installed PT9 as well. Maybe Kevin

Hi Abdul, You need to install the driver for the MBox. Before Avid opened up Pro Tools to different interfaces, it was all very automatic but now one needs to install the proper driver/drivers for the corresponding interface. In version 8, you had it all set up automatically but in version 9

Slau, As I mentioned I actually had to do the I key while at the splash screen to re-init the i/o devices. I first tried everything you mentioned and it still didn't work so after a call to tech support that is what they told me to do. As I understood it if you installed the driver before

Was reading in a previous thread about pressing the I key when starting Pro Tools. What does that do? Is that the equivalent of opening IO, selecting the inputs or outputs, clicking delete, then clicking default? If so, that would save me a ton of time seeing as how I have 3 different
