Ok, I am unable to select a track for editing, copying or anything like that by
using my up and down arrow to drop selection points and num 1 and 2 key to
select the bars of audio that I want to work on. I can use the arrow keys on
the fly to select for editing, cutting, copying and all of
The up and down arrow keys only work while the transport is engaged and have no
effect when it is not engaged. You can use the numeric keypad to enter start
and end points while the transport is not engaged. Pressing the slash key on
the numpad enables the start field. Type the bar and beat,
Thanks Slau, I will try that, I thought you had to be in that particular window
to select that way, but now that you said it I remember Kevin touching on it,

the transport bar open, however, I think it might be possible
There is someone on another list who is wondering if there is a list for

That's great news. I certainly can understand why you started to feel

When I go to import some files and say there is say 20 to 30 tracks, not all of
the tracks will move to the import list to copy or add when hitting enter. I
press enter and some will go and others will sound a VO click noise. Then I
have to go back and import them individually by going back and
