Hey David.
Here. Have a Pro Tools template I made with side chaining active on a stereo
bus.

You can explore the tracks and see what I did.
Hope this helps.

An instrument I recommend is Structure.
It’s a 30 gb library that boasts a wide range of sounds. What’s more, once it’s
installed, folks have created presets for it so you can access all of the
instruments right from the library.
Same goes for Strike, which is a great drum library.
We’re still
Hi chi,
I think what the problem might be is that, when a note is selected in a MIDI
track, changing the main counter doesn't necessarily change the selection of
the note. In other words, selected MIDI events are not the same as selecting a
range within the timeline of a MIDI track. That said,
HI Slau and John,
Thanks so much for those suggestions.
Interacting and selecting with vo+space seems to work relyably to edit a
value.
However, the synchronizing vo cursor with the current counter doesn't
seem to work.
If I'm on the first note at bar 1, and if I move the counter using down
Brilliant, thanks for that Kevin. I’ve got it working, thanks to the template.
It turns out I didn’t have the key option enabled in the actual compressor
itself. I had it enabled in the plugin, but not in the compressor perimeters.
That will help me a lot, until I eventually work out how to use

Are you using SONAR using Boot Camp on your Mac? Or do you have a purpose built
SONAR machine.I assume that you are using 8.53. Is that correct?

All, it certainly sounds as if people are doing their very best. I certainly
did not get the sense that we are being cast aside or blown off. As hard as
it may seem, patients may be the order of the day on this one. The response
Slau shared seems extremely levelheaded and basically fair.

Hi, I agree that they are working on the issue and for those of you who
think just labeling the QT application and rebuilding it in QT version 5
is all that it is it is a lot more. Basically from the QT software I
have taken a look at it is a complete rewrite and this process does take
time.
Presonus Faderport is what I use and also John Gunn from this list. John's wife
has assisted us with a little description and we have, of course, the manuals.
The faderport can be purchased for less than US$200. It has one fader - it is
motorized. it has Pan and all of the transport controls.
I truly do not know have not tried. Fact is I haven't used it that much I am
getting ready to. Eat Q is not something I'm going to be doing with the control
surface.

Hi. i have to program some drum tracks for a client. From reading posts on
here, it would seem that addictive drums is the way to go. I’m happy to get
addictive drums. How ever, is there any accessible kits and instruments in pt
that i can play around with, and possibly get the job done.

Thanks for that Ricky. I’ve had a look on the Internet. I assume that you can’t
control plugin parameters with this? It seems as if this is the case for
surfaces that run in HUI mode. Does the Faderport allow you to change EQ
settings for instance, or is it just track volume and pan?
Thanks.
Alas you can not. Perhaps if the plugin parameters could be controlled by midi
values then plugins might be controllable - I don’t know. I have a Beringer
BCF2000 which I think works with ProTools under the HUI mode. I think this also
allows me to control send faders as well as track and
I have an artist mix, and honestly I have no idea why they cost so much... No
transport, no jog wheel... Wish I'd brought something a little cheaper to be
honest.
