Sorry, but I started using PT with version 11.

Actually, does anybody have or recommend some place to get ProTools sessions to
give a look?

Hi all
Something slightly different and off topic if I may, though I feel this is
quite important and sorry if the subject line seams a bit dramatic or strong.
Firstly let me say I’ve been a member of this great group for quite a few years
now, but I’ve only really been a active reader and

Here's a webinar that Behringer did on using Pro Tools with an X32.
They mention all of the different flavors of the x32 mixers, but the
concepts are all the same across the entire line.
Hope this helps.

Anyway, I did repost your question over on Midimag. Hopefully Derek isn't

Hi Nickus,
Excellent points and I agree with you completely. Yes, the topics should be
specifically Pro Tools related. Posting general information links and such
should be discouraged or, at the very least, presented without comment with a
very clear subject line and no further discussion,
I'll cross-post this over on Midimag and hopefully Derek can get in
touch. He has the most X32 experience among blind folks so far.

Plenty of people using PT on Windows. I use it daily. Have a look at

Honestly, at this point, I may really get my ass kicked for saying this, but
I've actually been hearing this for more than a year. Almost now, 2! years. I
know Slau said it would get fixed, but I keep hearing deadline months,
November, end of this year, 3 more months, 1 more month, whatever,
Yeah. But how are you doing it as a blind person?
Is there some access solution that you have come up with?

That was it. Thanks. Turns out I need to leave the M-Audio card disabled in
device manager or it wants to be the audio device for PT. Not a major problem
as I can use the on bored sound for other tasks.

Mate, when I mean to practice I really meant Pro Tools sessions so to check
the tracks view layout, plugins and all good stuff, compare it to improve my
workflow, since this is totally diferent from the one I know as Sonar and so
on. You know, two many factors as diferent operating sistem,
Hi Rui,
Check out the templates that ship with pt.
They should give you a good idea on how they lay out a pt session for
different tasks.
I know they are just templates but signal flow is signal flow! :)
PT use to ship with 1 or 2 songs as a demo session to check out but its been so
long since!
Ever wanted to be in full control of your multi-track audio
projects?
Have you ever considered composing music with Midi and wanted more tools
to get it done?
Have you been frustrated with the limits of reaccess and Reaper and
wondering what the next fronteer regarding Audio editing was?

If you mean a PC running Windows, I doubt you'll find anyone doing that,
unless ProTools under Windows has become drastically more usable
recently. That's news to me if it has done.

Dude, you don't need actual ProTools sessions to practice. Go to:

Hundreds of full multitracks in any genre you can think of, all for the
taking. Forums for posting your mixes, commenting on others' mixes etc.

Hi everyone. We're in the middle of remodeling our house and need more cash.
Please write to me off list to make an offer on any of the below

For anyone interested, I downloaded the X32 with Pro Tools Webinar vid from
youtube and converted to mp3. Due to whatever webinar platform they were
using, the sound quality is less than stellar, but it’s totally fine for
educational purposes.
do you own a metronome? Try figuring it out by ear.

Tempos change a lot, or they don’t record to a click? Unless you have plenty of
editing to do to the tracks, you probably don’t need to identify the tempo of
the trac, That being said if memory serves correct Identify beat is for you to
tell it where each measure/beat is in the song, not the
