So a couple of thoughts: 1. You can always bounce a selected range rather than from the beginning of the session's timeline. You can select starting from the beginning of the audio until the end and allow for any reverb or delay tail. this keeps all of your markers and such in place. 2. What a

But why can’t you just get rid of the silence before bouncing the project out of ProTools? Otherwise a great option is Audacity. It works great for that kind of simple editing, and is completely free. Be careful though, because as far as I remember the latest version does not work with
