Hi list, sorry this is a bit off topic as it is not about PT. I'm
currently helping a guy with a project and at the same time I'm
testing cubase and neuendo to see if it's at all accessible. I just
want to find out how would I go about routing VO to play out the
internal line out jack on the mac
HI list, As some of you know by now I'm new to mac. I want to find out
if you will get the same performence using a mac laptop as you will
get using a desktop for music production {recording/mixing/
processing]? The reason for asking this is that the case on pc is that
you'll never get the same
Thanks guys this really helps, I know that a mac pro would be best and
if I had the cash I wouldn't even think twice about it but money money
money sigh... So is a external hard drive only nececery on a MBP, will

Hi all I am looking for a new controller to use with my DAW, I want
something accessible because a lot of the things have touch screens
and endless menus and settings, I just want something simple which
works. Any recommendations???
Hi Kevin great podcast can't wait for the next, you must let us know as soon
as you do the PT 101 and 110, I also had the idea of doing them but didn't
know if i'll be able to cover all the caurse requierments on PT. The book
you talked about on 101 would also be cool.
Hi guys I just joined this group. I'm actually a pc guy looking in to
getting a mac as I recently lost almost all my eye sight and there's
no recording software accessible on pc using jaws. I understand PT 9
is very accessible these days but heard that neuendo and cubase is
also accessible. Anyway
I'm new here I'm looking in to switching to PT. Just want to find out
if pro tools is accessible enough these days to enable us to do the
avid pro tools caurses like the 101 the 110 etc. at a authorised
instatution? I can go ahead and figure it out my self but the caurses
will only make me learn
of the desktop drives
that are externally powered do), and you should be good to go.
