didn't get my head around those modes. Right now i'm using grid mode only
though this maybe somewhat limiting. I also used the "Protools with speech"

Shuffle mode is what you want for that. Press f1 for Shuffle mode. You should
look at the other three modes and what they do in more detail in the manuals.
The two that you will use most often are shuffle and slip which, bTW, is f2.
