Make sure you have Edit Follows Track Selection checked under the Options menu.
To move the insertion point down to another track, thus selecting the next
track, use Control-; (semicolon).
To move the insertion to the previous track, use Control-p.

Pro Tools preferences is set for insertion to follow scrub. Also, check the box
for audio during fast forward and rewind. Under the main menu bar, make sure to
check the option for linking track selection
