For what its worth, I use autotune EFX with I think is the cheapest form of the
range, and I have found with experimentation I get extremely transparent
results.
Like Slau said I often do more manual tuning on individual notes etc, and again
the audio suite version of autotune EFX is geat for
Awesome! Thanks man! I'll look into that! Nothing like saving a little money if
I can.

Basically when you buy from a seller on the auction site, they send you a code
which you can enter on the Antares site for downloading your purchase. This is
the same protocol if you bought the plug-in from musicians friend, guitar
Center, sweet water and so on. It all comes down to the
parameters in auto tune.

are some accessibility issues with it. How ever if other
Ok, how would it work buying it from somewhere like that? In EFX, I like how
you can turn on and off notes in the scale. For instance, the client I have up
is singing in F, but there's a D-flat in the song, and I was able to add that
note to the scale, and still keep her vocal in a major
I went with EF ex myself. Another point is they offer a pretty low upgrade
price if you should wish to purchase auto tune eight. You can also buy EF ex on
the popular auction site very very cheap. I think I paid $70 from a legitimate
seller in Pennsylvania.

The way I'm looking at things, EFX3 is basically Autotune 7 without the
graphical interface, Live is 8 without FlexTune, and the way my demo's looking,
that's inaccessible to us anyway. I'll probably buy a license for Live so I can
still have the formant controls if I need them, but it seems a
