logged in but was browsing his iLok keys that appeared to be under a different
account. After logging in, there were no issues. Again, I'll

I have yet to be able to find a place where I can see all the licenses that I
have. It

You can buy downtime protection if you are worried about breaking or loosing
your iLok.

Nick, if you ever buy music through iTunes, it'll come in M4A format.
Personally, I prefer its sound to MP3, if I have to have a compressed
version of something.

OK, just a few more details about the recording:
As I mentioned, I'll be re-recording another version which will
ultimately be posted on iLok.com/accessibility which is not up yet. Pace
didn't have time

Hi J.R.,
Command-1 shows you all of your licenses. Command-l shows you the locations
(including your host computer) and the connected and unconnected iLoks.
Command-6 browses the activations on the selected location. If you have more
than one iLok connected and they both belong to the same

Hi, Wonderful audio demo! One question is how did you record this demo
like what software and hardware were you using and for those of us who are
use to mp3 what is the m4a format and how is it different? Nick Gawronski

I used an edirol R-09 handheld recorder to capture the initial audio and edited
in Pro Tools. M4a is Apple's version of mp3. Most players in the world support
m4a as well as mp3.

If you would like to record demos like this you can also use apps like Audio
Hijack and its little brother Piezo. Quicktime is a good free alternative but
you may have to get fancy with stuff like SoundFlower and or line in (both also
free) to capture VO as well.
