I am under the same impression of KK’s implementation being more in-depth and a
bit simpler with logic. But yeah the fact that its basically useless
accessibility wise without a KK keyboard and you can’t use it with any of the
many audio effects that are now NKS compatible on an audio track has
No, but I have considered it, as far as I know the implementation with Logic is
better than with Pro Tools, but this might be outdated info… I also would like
it to be accessible without the use of a NI keyboard connected, like when
you’re not in your studio…. But still interested, and still
are you using K K john. if so how do you find it.

Thanks for all the info and thoughts, it’s interesting to stay informed on this

i don’t really think logic would replace protools for me. But i like it for

just to add I think the other thing that decided me to give logic a run was the
fact i had a lot of old midi files to deal with for a client. With logic you
just open them up and it’s all there and you just start playing around with
sounds. I found in protools this was not so easy. As i had to
Editing is more intuitive in pro tools but can be done in logic if you take the
time to learn its workflow. Multi track recording is still a bit more annoying
than it should be from an accessibility standpoint but no real issues if you
are only recording one track at a time. If you are a
Hi John as I say i’m quite new to it. I think the Main issue with using logic
is knowing what tracks are armed at any one time. Witch is probably fine if you
only want to record one or two tracks at a time. other logic users may have a
work around for this, but not sure.
For me I’ll continue
Hi Steve,
How good is the current state of accessibility in Logic compared with Pro
Tools? Where is Logic more accessible, and where is Pro Tools most accessible?

yeah. I’m very new to logic, but getting my head around it ok now. If it’s
music composition you are doing and if your mainly dealing with midi recording.
I’d think logic may be the better option. It just seems well set up for that
sort of work.then you’ve got all the loops and other things
Hi,
I don’t know that much about Logic, but from what I’ve heard, the built in soft
synths/instrument sounds are better in Logic, so it may be a better tool for
composing.
