I have heard the native instruments demo, and it will be ProTools compatible. The self voicing part of this uses the Apple system voice, so it can run standalone or in any plug and host. Really excited for this new turn of events, and the minute that this access is built into the next version

Not to get too off topic, but what I! wanna know, is, has anyone tried PG-Music's Band in a Box on the Mac? I use it quite regularly on the Windows side to help with arranging my music, then I take those projects over to PT, import the raw wave stem files, and then add whatever else I need.

The iOS music Memos app from apple seems to do a lot of similar things to Band in a Box. Try that and see if its sufficient for you. Thanks to the magic of iCloud it should sync to your mac and be available in Logic/GB when you are done so you can bounce the wavs out there and import into pro
