Finally able to upgrade ProTools.

Hello all, I’m finally able to upgrade my ProTools 11 to the latest version. However, I need your advice. Can I upgrade to the latest version of OS? I believe it is hey Siri…. I am currently running version 10.9.5 because I was afraid the update would render my version. Of ProTools unusable.

Hi Chad, I'm on el capitan using a pt hdx system and staying there because "Sierra" and High Sierra are extremely whacked out if your trying to run a business with pro tools 12.8.2 or 3. Apples don't fall far from the tree unless the tree is on a downward slope IE "apples CEO Tim Cook" Chuck

Hi Chad, As Pro Tools 12.8.3 is the very first version to support High Sierra, there are still a couple of stray bugs that have been stubborn. There are a small group of users (I'm not referring to blind users) who experience occasional trouble quitting Pro Tools. Of course, Avid saw it fit
