No, there isn't a trial version. There used to be one for much earlier versions
of Pro Tools but certainly not for something as recent as 8.0.4 or higher.

Lol. Vincenzo, did you miss that we're just starting to play with this stuff?
I'm the first one to even post about the problem. There may be a workaround,
but we've barely defined the problem yet.

When this happens in my Waves plugin window in my HD3 rig I close ALL
the other windows that are open.
This usually stops the jump out of the window syndrome! LOL At
least in my waves plugin windows It stays in the window.
