Think you are confusing your brands there. The Apogee elements do not have any knobs or buttons on them. So you would have to use the iOS app, (free) or get the apogee element control, a USB controller for the element interface ($199) or use Logic where it can be controlled from the channel

Can you point me to where one can get a copy of this OSC application for windows accessibility? This is why stuff like the Arturia AudioFuse and the PreSonus Quantum is promising. All the routing is done in the DAW as the latency is low enough now that we won’t need stuff like the total mix

Nope. Thats how you use the unison effects, and its not accessible. You can still “track though the plug ins” by load them on the track while recording in your DAW, but you loose any of the unison benefits that way. Nothing other than using the Plug in’s in the DAW is accessible with UAD’s

Hi Andre, Thing is, Thunderbolt interfaces for drives are really pricy and you won't get any better performance than the SATA speed which USB 3 can easily handle. You can get a Thunderbolt to USB adapter or go for one of those Belkin or Other World Computing Thunderbolt Docks to gain a whole

I was more saying same brands for TB drives. But also see my other point that even though the TB or USB enclosure may have another brand on it the actual HDD inside of the external enclosure is mostly likely gonna be a WesternDigital (or a company owned by western digital) or a Seagate drive.
