Tom, also regarding your pedal issue, I found the following article
that is supposed to correct the issue on the MKII devices. Perhaps it
will work for you as well. I have not had a chance to try it out for
my self yet, but am just passing it along for your reference. See

I don't know what's going on with your instrument tracks not playing. Depending
on what type of instruments they are, it sometimes can take a minute to load
the instruments themselves. There are also tons of variables of which I'm not
aware. Are these older sessions? Were the instrument
I too am having an issue with my sustain pedal not working on my S61
MKII. It was working fine, until I came in the other day to work on
some tracks and had no functionality of my sus pedal.
I too am dead in the water until I find a resolution.
Very frustrating.
