Hello An hd rig requires a pci OR pci-e card to connect to analog/digital i/o. There are lots of different options for cards and peripherals. The hd core cards come in varying ammounts of dsp power. The least expensive hd system with 16 channels of analog i/o can be had for around $7,000.
