Simple question. Is it better to get PT on a CD and have a permanent copy:
Or is it better to buy PT from Avid online?
Online is about half of PT on CD.
I was told both versions can be maintained including upgrades for $99 a year.

OK, so I have decided to have a go with Flotools and Protools, but I am having
a problem.
If I open up VoiceOver Utility and heck the box and enter my password it stays
checked for a couple of seconds and then goes unchecked again. Any thoughts,
how to get around this?

Hmm, I’ve never seen that before. Maybe try restarting VoiceOver by turning it
off and back on again. Note that restarting machine does not accomplish this.
You could also try reinstalling the OS from recovery partition if you want to
to see if that fixes anything. Not sure if anyone else has ot

This was a rare issue for a couple of people and it seemed to exist in High
Sierra but, if you uncheck and recheck the checkbox, supposedly it sorts itself
out. Perhaps it's worth a try.

preferences by:
Open up voiceover utility
go to menu bar with vo+m
go to file menu
Select reset all voiceover preference.
Go back to the general category and see if it lets you check allow
VoiceOVer to be controlled with A
