I think we need it for the selection API specification because the concept of
being “visually equivalent” and selection.toString need to be defined in terms
of it.

implemented such that it doesn't use this API nor include any unverified

At minimum, its information leakage. If the data has value such that
at least one leg requires HTTPS, then traversing some legs with HTTP

site enhancing their clipboard data were unanimously delighted rather than
