Hi all, I have this sound card with several hw devices attached, this is, it's only one card but I can configure/route all its numerous pcm/hw devices to have different sink/sources. For saying something I have hw:0,0 for playback/capture, on hw:0,1 only capture, hw:0,2 again for playback/capture,

I have had very limited success finding any information about what to do about the RME Hammerfall DSP Multiface II card in connection with Pulseaudio (running on Ubuntu Lucid 10.04). Basically, the best advice I had been able to find has been putting the lines load-module module-alsa-sink sink_n

So over the previous weeks I've been working on a small script which tests whether the ALSA mixer lives up to PA's expectations. If you are familiar with dbmeasure or dbverify by Lennart Poettering, this application's purpose is very similar, but this one is hopefully easier to set up, more use
