of them just returns that the
file is missing, and on some others says that then does show a
status of a cluster where they are the only one connected (which
a "Activity blocked" since they don't have quorum).
Any idea what happened ? How to fix it ?

by HA quickly but that's still annoying. It's been happening
for years on all our clusters, but for some reason no one else has that problem,
so I assume it's something to do with the glusterfs implementation or something.

Still, it'd be great to have a button in proxmox for that. Something that'd take
the path, and would mv the file into place and add it, which is basically what
we do by hand anyway.

addition to proxmox by the way,
a checkbox or something to get the VM output in a file, for debugging libgfapi
it would help a lot.
Currently the only way I am aware of to get those logs is starting the VM by
hand in a shell, bypassing the web interface.

poweroff on the 4.3 then just click start on the 4.2. I usually have less
than 20 seconds of downtime doing it this way, no one never noticed.
Depends on how much time your VM needs to boot of course, we only have Linux.

g to disable HA without losing the comment and having to figure out the id
again.
I personnaly use the comment to put the machine name, since the id isn't really
that great to identify the VM for me in the list.

and for that you need to restart it, tweak the hardware ..
Could you maybe have the Stop button work as expected, but "hide" it in a menu
or something for HA enabled VMs ? That would be fine. Or just put a warning
on the confirmation box maybe ?

you click on "Stop", it actually tries to do a
shutdown on it, and only does an actual stop after that times out.
So much time lost waiting for this to timeout .. I now remove the VM
from HA, stop it, then enable it again.

just a question of guest support, that's fine. Both hotplug and unplug
seem to be working perfectly fine for us in HA, so I'll be enabling that on all
our VMs shortly. That's going to save us so much time, not having to plan
reboots
with the clients at nights, it's great !
