We just released Proxmox VE 3.1, introducing great new features and services.
We included SPICE (http://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/SPICE) , GlusterFS storage
plugin and the ability to apply updates via GUI (including change logs).

I thought live migration between different versions was never
(officially) supported.

On my pve-test cluster, I always follow this rule:
- live migrate all the vm's of the host
- upgrade the host
- live migrate back the vm's
So I can upgrade all my cluster without downtime.
But here I can't... or I can safely upgrade a host with running vm's ?

I resolved using this rule:
1st host:
- live migrate vms to another host (same version)
- upgrade
other hosts:
- upgrade with NO REBOOT
- live migrate vms to an already upgraded host
- reboot
It works fine.
