Update: There is a workaround for the free Student version
(MacPyMOL-v1.3r1-edu.tar.bz2) to get it working in Yosemite. Use this script to
launch MacPyMOL, modify the $app variable if necessary.

Update: We got positive feedback from several Yosemite users that the
latest MacPyMOL works fine for them. The X11Hybrid version works after
reinstalling XQuartz. Users have also been successfull to install
Open-Source PyMOL with homebrew.
