I don't have a GPS device so when I log a run I need to explicitly
provide the running distance. The way I determine my running distance
is usually by using Google Maps to roughly measure the route I took.
This is not so great since I don't get to keep a record of the routes

Unfortunately as far as I understand it doesn't do that at all. Before I got a
GPS device I would:
* Record my route on www.geodistance.com (currently it doesn't save routes
online but does let you download a .kml file)
* Note the distance to any lap points along the route that I tim

It's been a very busy year so far - I was on a death march project at
work since December and I also became a father in March - but I've
quit my job now so I'm finally getting around to doing this service
layer refactoring.
As part of this refactoring I am also going to implement strict value

From my understanding and checking the code, it's literally just a way of
putting markers on the map. If someone else knows more please shout :)
