not sure if your guest OS also needs to be 64-bit, but it better be.

Note however, that as far as I know, all the Qemu accelerators - KQemu
and KVM do not support this.

Hi Lauro Ramos Venancio !
I would like to volunteer me to maintain a stable branch (and eventually a bug
track) .
In 2008, I will work full time on qemu and I will need a stable version.
I fully support the idea of having stable branch.
Count me in, as your stable-branch BETA-tester :)

I Tried to launch 2 VMs connected back-to-back on the same host, but nothing
worked, so I wasted a lot of time figuring it out, and my time could be saved,
if Qemu could give proper warning on user stupidity/incorrect action.
At the end, my colleague pointed me to this problem.
Actually I

My recommendation, is that if you want to upload anything to the web
please use yousendit.com web-upload-service, and post only links to
your files withing the email.

Problem 2: Where is Qemu Bugzilla ?

-Alexey Eremenko Technologov
Host: Fedora 7, 64-bit, Qemu 0.9, AMD Opteron.
Guest: Solaris 10 (32-bit, 2005 release) aborts install in the middle.
This shouldn't happen. It works on VMware.
Is there any bugzilla ?

Next step, I can build an integrated Qemu setup package for Windows, that has TAP-Win32 drivers in it. (that way I will follow the standard
rule of Windows to depend *just* on the OS itself) But I will only do this setup, if you agree to list it on Qemu homesite. And again, it comes not to doing

Thank you very much.
I have found something useful: TAP for Windows - that is - virtual
ethernet network driver for Win NT based systems.
So basically only those docs were relevant:
But unfortunately, it comes separately from Qemu package, inside
OpenVPN software.
So my recommendation is to:
1) get the TAP driver out of OpenVPN package, and
2) put it into Qemu setup, and
3) update user docs with that.
I dunno if I will succeed in getting the driver out of OpenVPN, it

I would like to update some part of Qemu documentation, especially

I am speaking about the end-user docs, those:

For example the documentation is very poor about running Qemu under
Windows host, with it's
