Hi,
I think Werner had a look at pootle during the hackfest in Poland. And I
remember that it looked like a good tool for the GUI (.po) files online
translations, but at that time not for documentation or manual pages.
But maybe I am wrong and it has changed.

There have been recent Postgis fixes from Jürgen (yesterday night). But
I am not sure if your problem is also fixed.
The pkey issues was fixed and also the issue that one could not load
views that did not have an entry in the public.geometry_columns table.

Hi,
I was just talking to Astrid Emde and Lars Lingner. They have experience
using rst in the Mapserver and OSGeo-Live project and they are satisfied
with that for the documentation. I will get more information about their
method the next days.
From the OSGeo Live project I know that they use
Hi,
here is another experience from the method of the mapserver documentation
translation, also see:
http://trac.osgeo.org/mapserver/wiki/DocumentationTranslation
It doesn't seem to be perfect, but still better than our current solution, I
guess ;).

Hi Gary,
Yes, you are right, but I still geht the error message with just the line from

Hi Paolo,
Are they views or real tables?
I had problems with views that weren't registered in the
geometry_columns table, but Jürgens recent fix from yesterday evening
fixed these issues.
With my data everything looks good now with the most recent builds.

Hi,
I think that pdf should be generated from latex source, because latex
is the best tool for producing pdf (IMHO).
So conversion from rst to latex is necessary. But I know it is not easy task.

Hi all,
Following the recent enhancements of QGsExpression, I was wondering
I personally would like to see Python exposed for use with expressions
first, before looking at adding javascript style support.
I also don't think it makes much sense to try to use V8 when Qt already
comes with a javascript interpreter that can handle Qt objects.
