The new composer works fine for me. Nice changes - I like the new layout. It's really good to see the composer getting some work on it. Nathan, just out of interest do you know how much effort it would take to implement the following: 1) Text over two lines for legend item text 2)

yes - both would be very nice enhancements to the legend. Esp. Option 2. I don't always want to display a text for a legend or layer. So it would be very nice being able to hide the headings (title/group/layer). Andreas On Mon, 6 Feb 2012 12:50:22 -, James Stott wrote: The new composer

Nathan that would be really good if you could take a look at whether multi line item labels are possible. That does do it for 2 but it then reverts back to what it was originally if you update the layer in the legend doesn’t it or have I missed something? I want to be able to update all legend

Jamas and Andreas, I see what you mean. It is a bit of a pain, not very ideal. I'll see what I can do to improve this. Can't promise anything yes but I'll have look anyway. I suspect a redesign of the legend widget to allow more finer control of each item is in order. One thing I have thought

Hi James, I came across the same solution to the problem - but I think it is cumbersome and it should be fixed in the legend item. Every time the legend changes in size you would have to manually adjust the box ... Andreas On Mon, 6 Feb 2012 13:48:16 -, James Stott wrote: Nathan that

Thank you Nathan that would be great if any of those things could happen. Controlling what updates would be one way around it. I did have another thought with regards to multi line legend items, it could possibly be useful to allow the use of a character which signifies the need to use a new

Hi Nathan, Thanks for your reply. I am a little bit confused as I do not really know how to set the mouse position. I have a solution, but it is not giving the same experience as when you create a new feature in a layer: I use the canvasMoveEvent, I get the point in pixels in the canvas
