Hi all.
I'm working on some SVG symbols for QGIS. I wish to make it possible to change
their
colour in QGIS: anyone has a pointer to an howto?
Thanks.

Hi Stefan,
Are you able to open SOSI files in QGIS? In 64 bit QGIS master (as you
mentioned I don’t get the option for SOSI files in 32 bit), I get a dialog
asking me if I want to load the points, lines or polygons from the SOSI file,
but then I just get an error message telling me that it is

Anybody volunteering to try/test this and write a short piece of text
about it for the manual?
(not sure where to put this though)

Hi
On current master (Ubuntu 12.04) I'm unable to add a new feature to existing
layers (shape, postgis). I can digitize the geometry and the form pops up but I
cannot enter values into the form and the ok button is greyed out.
Can anyone confirm this or do I have to change some magic new
Hi,
Same here, with postgis data . Quite a bug!
Also when copying data, no way to copy to an existing layer. Option is
greyed out.

Yups, my problem was that the data was a linestringM data, not editable in
any version of QGIS.
new features and copy-paste works all rigth for supported geometries here.
sorry for the noise.

You might want to check the configuration of the fields in the layer
properties and report which field causes the problem.
There is a new widget API and there might be some problem with the
translation from old to new widgets.

Yes, I confirm for last master, at least on shapes and sqlite.
This is strange, I tested just after Matthias' merge and did not had any
trouble.
Can't tell which commit brought the trouble though.

Hi again,
my problem is unsolved. I eliminated either additionnal geometry column or
oid/ pk / select at id causes.
for a very simple postgis table, no way to open the attribute table, Qgis
freezes and transaction needs to be aborted on postgres side.
Any idea? Am I alone?

Making a view from that table goes well.
I really don't have a clue.

Qgis 1.8 is concerned too. This is probably something on postgres side then.

We seem to have trouble with cursors.
here is postgres log when trying to open attribute table in qgis:

other symptoms are that identify or select actions on map consider all
objects as one multi point.

QGIS 1.8 raises those error message :

QGIS 2.2 tries to create cursors infinitly.. when qgis 1.8 let first cursor
transaction idle.
Creating the table raw without any constraint in another schema works.
if anybody finds one day what happens, I'll be happy to learn..

Hi devs, Marco, René-Luc,
I have some people giving feedback about the current JPEG compression. Many
users think the FORMAT=image/jpeg parameters in the GetMap requests
produce poor quality images.
I guess the 80% rate is used. I think it could be enough to increase it
to 90 to produce better
Or even better, having a config at runtime, project by project.

Recently I had to calculate the relative dimension of a polygon relative to

Hi,
well, this is something I miss, coming from Mapinfo world.
Some tests are being made currently on French ministry of ecology, and by
Nathan also, to head to some kind of a layer abstraction, based on ogr
virtual layer and ogr sqlite engine.
Once done, that would open a large field of new
Hi Regis,
it's a long time I think to what you're descriibing, and that would
definitely be on a higher level then aggregate expressions alone. This
level of abstraction would also be basis for a map/reduce pattern analysis.
It would be great to know some more about what has been discussed so far.
Hi Frédéric
Having read your proposals, they all look great to me. If you are able to,
what about more generally taking over maintainership of ftools?
Also would comment that it would be great if these functions could be
provided as processing plugins too.
